Kudos to Rafa who went to Turkey to rep Canada at the IFMA Youth World Championships! This is his second time on Team Canada, first going in 2017. This time he has been training with Ajahn Suchart and made great strides for this opportunity. Unfortunately, a late qualification process meant he had to move a higher weight class than he naturally fights at. Rafa fought a close and intense battle against a much larger opponent, and lost a decision. However, he made it a war and did us, and Canada, proud.
